Murder Mystery (2019)

Fans of Jennifer Aniston rejoice!! She's back in what she does best in the Netflix original comedy Murder Mystery co starring again with Adam Sandler whom she first co starred with in Just Go With It in 2011. Murder Mystery is a straight forward comedy poking fun at the murder mystery genre in the likes of Agatha Christie adaptations. It does not pretend to be anything but a screw ball comedy and for me, it delivered what it promises with enough ticks against the boxes to satisfy any Aniston fan.

Exotic locale? How does Monaco sound? Check! Star studded cast? Well we do have the lovely Gemma Arterton, and dashing Luke Evans, with Terence Stamp thrown in for good measure! Check! Car chase? Yes!! With Jennifer behind the wheels of a red Ferrari racing through the narrow streets of Monaco!! Check! Multiple plot twists aplenty with the real murderer identity being revealed only at the end ... check! And of course we get Jennifer Aniston doing what she does best .. her style of comedy.

You probably have seen it all before and quite possibly in better, funnier movies too! And both Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler probably don't look like they are acting but just merely behaving like they always do! But, I am not complaining. Any movie that can keep me entertained and smiling throughout its running time is alright by me.
